Collection: Custom Work

When you want something special for yourself or someone you care about, I try and do my best to give you exactly what you're looking for. Custom jobs are taken on at my sole discretion, and are subject to my availability (I am in graduate school full time).

For a full description of my policies about custom work, see my Policies Page

An early example of some of my custom work is the featured image of the collection. This is actually the house of one of my neighbors. Note that the bottom third of the coaster was cropped off the image at her request for privacy reasons. The coaster was designed based on this photo of the house.

Another recent custom job was for a gun range run by another resident of my neighborhood, who wanted their range's logo and custom text engraved on some items which they provided.

Next is an item I made for the Officers serving under me in my Lodge as a thank you for their hard work. It's a personalized key chain. While I'll only display the one featuring my name here, each was personalized with the recipient's name on the back.

A similar kind of thing is a set of name badges with magnetic backings I made up for the members of my Temple's Membership Committee, on which I serve. Again, each was customized, but I will only show my own here for privacy reasons.

Among all the other things I do, I also dabble in poetry and writing lyrics. In the wake of the horrific events of October 7, 2023 in Israel, with Hanukkah just around the corner, I was inspired to write a new set of lyrics for the classic Peter, Paul, and Mary song, "Light One Candle." While I only made this piece for personal use and did not sell it or in any way profit from it, I just wanted to showcase it as another kind thing that can be done, by putting a song's lyrics, a poem, or any other important document into wood.

The items above just represent the tip of the iceberg both for what I have done and for what is possible. Personalized badges, key chains, custom coasters, and so much more! Bear in mind I can also work with many metals, leather, glass, and stone, though some limitations may apply based on the material. If you have a crazy idea (or even a not-so-crazy idea) that you want me to help you see come into reality, drop me a line via the contact button. I'll be glad to discuss it with you,
